We are faced with a car with an incredible history.
This is in fact the car that Massimo Sigala used in the single-brand European championship dedicated to the Renault 5 Turbo Maxi in 1984, leading it to success in the Zandvoort race.
The car was purchased in 1984 by Sigala and prepared for the 1984 championship; then, once the competitive activity was over, it was withdrawn from Garage Ambrosiano, converted back to road use, registered and delivered to Sigala family: it remained here until 1991, the year in which it was purchased by the second owner who kept it until 2008, when bought by current owner takes possession.
The car, originally in track setup, featured a red Momo livery and later a black Momo Design one. Once its racing career was over and it was converted back to road use, it was fitted with the original grey-black fabric interior and painted in dark grey colour.
It currently boast general very good condition, both from a mechanical and aesthetic point of view.
The photographic documentation relating to participation in races is present and viewable.
Below are reported some youtube video links of the competitions in which the car took part:

The Renault 5 Turbo Maxi 2 is the direct evolution of the first series of the same model.
It is a unique project, a small car completely redesigned for competitions.
The car was mass-produced to homologate the racing version for participation in the World Rally Championship, as requested from racing regulations of the time. Peculiar characteristics of this car are the mid engine configurations, in place of the rear seats, rear-wheel drive and, from an aesthetic point of view, the large wheels and the adoption of air intakes and lateral vents which characterized its design.
The iconic supercar capable of taking you back in time, directly to the 80s, in excellent condition and with very few Km.
